Antonio Forcione is a guitarist of incredible creativity, skill, humour and warmth.

This is the best YouTube video I could find of this particular piece, Touch Wood, but in others he explains that as a child his first musical passion was percussion. Sadly, however, he had to give up on this when the playing of his drums drove the family's shoemaker neighbour to desperation.

Although he says that he has never looked back from being given a guitar, Touch Wood shows that as well as being a consumate guitarist, he is also a consumate percussionist.

Antonio tours a lot and usually has daily shows in Edinburgh during the festival. You won't regret investing in seeing him live.
