Into the mix...

This new section of our website provides space for us to throw a few new ingredients into the mix!

One of the many things we like doing is to scan the horizon of (apparently) unrelated fields for ideas which could have implications for the way we think about our work with people who have dementia. We would like to share some of this 'work in progress' with you. Since a lot of such thoughts will be very new to us, we won't have got our 'take' on it completely worked out, but that is part of the point of doing it.

Another type of 'Into the mix' item we intend to develop concerns the sphere of creativity more generally. We are both involved in creative work of various kinds which is not directly related to our work in the dementia field. Although not part of our main 'brief', we are both strongly of the opinion that such activities form a crucial part of the overall picture for each of us, supporting and being stimulated by our dementia activites.

We will have more ideas for 'Into the mix' items, so keep an eye on this slot. We would of course love to hear from you if any of these ideas spark thoughts in you, or if you have ideas for new kinds of item. If you agree we could put your ideas and responses up and get a bit of discussion going.
