Alongside his work in the dementia field, John is part of the wider poetry world.

This film is of a reading which took place at the 2012 Wenlock Poetry Festival. Carole Boyd (who plays Linda Snell in The Archers) reads the work of various poets whose work was chosen to be included in the festival anthology.

The whole thing is wonderful, but John's poem 'The B&B at the end of the world' begins at 15:03.
