'Hidden doors' is the new name for 'pot luck'. You'll find hidden doors on various pages of our website.

The name is borrowed from the title of a book by one of our favourite authors, Neil M Gunn.

The idea is that behind the hidden doors lie things which are important to us (one or both), things which have a direct connection with our personhood, and which we hope those around us might help us to connect with if, for any reason, we were unable to do so ourselves.

We see much of our work as seeking out the hidden doors for people with dementia, helping to find the things which enable them to reconnect with themselves and others, and supporting their continued development as persons.

Look out for them as you explore our site!
